Savings Accounts

It's a nice feeling to have money set aside in a savings account for emergencies. Saving isn't that hard to do when you deposit a set amount each payday into a share savings account. Deposits can be made in person, by mail or by payroll deduction, whichever is convenient for you. And it won't take long for your account to grow, because the credit union pays competitive dividends. At Sheridan Community Federal CU we can make saving as painless as possible with a variety of savings plans:

  • Regular Savings Accounts
  • Certificates of Deposit
  • Christmas Club Accounts
  • Vacation Club Accounts

Sheridan Community Federal CU offers Certificates of Deposit with a low $500 minimum balance and terms ranging from three months to five years. Club accounts require no minimum balance and no minimum deposit. Christmas Club checks are mailed November 1 and Vacation Club checks are mailed June 1 (can be mailed or direct deposited to a selected account).

Your savings are federally insured to at least $100,000 and backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government.
